Dr. Eric Hehl is the owner of Top Shot Maryland, LLC.  Eric began shooting when he was 10 years old.  Both his father and step-father, both former military, taught him how to shoot.  Eric received his Ph.D in 2001 and became an Intelligence Officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency.  While at DIA Eric led a team of intelligence officers working on Weapons of Mass Destruction issues.

The work resulted in Eric producing over 40 classified publications and over 100 briefs including at the White House, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the National Intelligence Council, the National Defense University, the Pentagon and various military commands throughout the world. Eric’s team received a National Meritorious Unit Citation from the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.

Eric is currently a university professor and has been teaching adults for over 20 years. He is an NRA Instructor, a USCCA Instructor, and a UTM Force-on-Force Instructor.

Lt. Col. Kirby Bowling, Ph.D has over 26 years of military and US federal law enforcement experience to include international policing assignments in four countries and as a Reservist, military combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Kirby also provided dignitary protection for several senior-level executive personnel and was a SWAT commander and a hostage negotiator during his tenure in southwest US. Competitive shooter winning Top Gun in M-9, gold on the pistol team and bronze on the rifle team. Before instructor duty at the Joint Law Enforcement Training Center, was a range operations officer with annual graduation of 55,000 firearms students sending 10.5 million rounds downrange from the M-9 handgun to 81mm mortar and everything in between.”
