SUMMARY:NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting Course
DESCRIPTION:This course is at least eight hours long and includes classroom and range time instruction. Students will learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling\, rifle parts and operation\, ammunition\, shooting fundamentals\, range rules\, shooting from the bench rest\, prone\, sitting\, standing\, and kneeling positions\, cleaning\, and continued opportunities for skill development. In addition to classroom instruction students will complete a live fire training exercise at a range with an NRA Certified Instructor. Students will receive the NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook and the NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program book.  At the successful completion of the class\, students will receive an NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting Course certificate. If you own a rifle\, please bring it with you along with eye protection\, ear protection\, and 100 rounds of ammunition. When you arrive\, please leave your ammunition in your car. Class will start at 8:00AM. If you have any questions\, please contact Eric at (410)493-0625. \nThe cost of the class is $200 plus a $50 range fee and a $7.78 processing fee = $257.78.
