SUMMARY:NRA Rifle Instructor Shooting Course
DESCRIPTION:This 10-hour course teaches the knowledge\, skills and attitude essential to organizing\, promoting and teaching NRA’s Rifle Instructor Shooting course. Instructor candidates will demonstrate organizational and teaching skills while participating in practical exercises\, complete an instructor certification examination\, and complete the shooting qualification shooting prone\, benchrest\, and standing. \nThere are certain prerequisites that must be completed before being allowed to take the NRA Rifle Instructure class. Students must possess basic firearm safety and shooting skills as a perquisite for certification as an NRA instructor. Prior to the instructor training\, candidates must complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm background in pre-course assessment exercises. Students must have taken NRA Basic Rifle course and have passed it with a 90% and have taken Basic Instructor Training (BIT) within the last 2 years. For those who need to take BIT please contact Eric and let him know. The cost of BIT is $100. \nPlease bring your rifle\, eye protection\, ear protection\, and 150 rounds of ammunition. Please leave your ammunition in your car. Class will begin at 8:00AM at: Top Shot Maryland\, LLC 48 Thornhill Road Lutherville Timonium\, MD 21093. Coffee\, tea\, and water will be provided.
