SUMMARY:NRA Concealed Carry CCW Course
DESCRIPTION:This is the exact class you need to take to obtain your Maryland Wear & Carry Permit or for those looking to become an NRA CCW Instructor. This 16-hour NRA Concealed Carry (CCW) Course is taught over 2-days.  Day one consists of all classroom time. Day two is combination of both range time mixed with classroom time. Topics that will be taught include firearm safety\, handgun nomenclature\, selecting a handgun for self-defense\, ammunition knowledge and defensive ammunition\, basic defensive handgun skills\, drawing from concealment\, loading and stoppage remediation\, laws regarding the possession\, purchase\, and use of handguns\, and mindset. You will receive three books highlighting what you have learned in class. At the successful completion of the course\, students will also receive an NRA CCW Certificate and be able to apply for your Maryland Wear & Carry Permit. \nYou will need to bring the following items to class:  your firearm\, holster\, concealment garment (a jacket)\, mag pouch\, three magazines\, eye protection\, ear protection\, and 200 rounds of ammo. If you need to rent a firearm\, please let the instructor know. Class will begin at 8:00am.
